Congrats!

You did a great job so, in my opinion, you deserve it.

Just an FYI -
The new site is definitely getting noticed. I was just contacted by someone writing a 2006 Year in Review for a large site in Germany and they wanted to use a photo because they are including Lestat. (I don't know if that person is on the forum, so I don't want to post to much info)

I got over 900 hits just the first weekend it was up.
As of today 12/29/06
Total hits: 27102
Visits: 735
And the site has only been active for about 2 weeks.

If traffic continues to be decent, it might be worth contacting TPTB about the interest. I am getting hits from all over the world. The most feedback I am getting is about people asking about the audio. So there is definite interest. Maybe if TPTB get actual numbers, it *might* make a difference. Just a thought.

Nice work...I'm what one of my friends calls a "stats whore" since I just LOVE seeing how many people visit HPN, where they come from, what pages they're looking at, and what search terms they use.

I know we've gotten a couple of hits from your site already.

And, like you, I get a lot of inquiries about Lestat recordings.

I have looked at your site and I think that you did a fabulous job. I need to update my site soon as well, so when I do, I'll put a link back to yours on mine.

Hey all...
I know I said I was going to do it in January, but I got involved in other things. (particularly planning my summer vacation )

Anyhoo, I have begun to rework the site. It had some elementsI didn't really like but I had to put them in because they were required for the project. So now, I am doing it how I want.

The main differences right now are the title bar and the change in the navigation bar. I made the buttons a bit smaller so I can add some.

Any suggestions will be welcomed (can't say I will use them , but I'll definitely entertain any ideas)
Again, the link

or to go directly to the page without the intro http://lestat.d....com/index2.htm

The new header looks good...my only tiny comment is that the edges of the letters of LESTAT aren't quite smooth.

But, otherwise, everything looks good.

Thanks Paula, I took another look.

It looked fine in photoshop... but I'll see about tweaking it a bit more. (or maybe re-doing it)

I took out most of the flash stuff. Not really a big fan, but I do like the opening.

I figured since I wasn't going to be doing a whole lot this spring due to $$ (crazy me is flying halfway around the world... literally... to see Phantom in Melbourne in August. ) I'd work on the site. RIght now I have no real plan, I am just kind of fiddling with it until I like what I see.

It’s true! It is indeed difficult to maintain a server of your own. Inspite the benefits, it also has its own problems. I think it will be very convenient for you to get the services of a web hosting company. They are economical, cheap and easy to avail. You can access SEO Hosting companies with innumerable plans and rates to suit all.
