Ok. Seriously. This musical is a joke, right? They can't be serious, can they?
Or is Lestat a real life Producers? Are they trying to make bomb to collect insurance money or something?
I am at a loss. Really.
The show is beyond bad. It is not worth seeing. It is not even worth reviewing.

You don't think there was anything worth salvaging? No positive points at all, no basis for improvement?

It is NOT that bad at all.It has some great moments and alot of potential. Some of the music is very moving and pretty and the sets are amazing. The singing is great too.

I stand by my comment.
Sure some of the sets we're nice, but much too minimal.
Costumes: OK.
Music: uninspired & repetitive. But then again I've never liked Elton John.
Lyrics: god awful.
Acting: Would've been great if they had direction. I mean, come on. The actors never moved during their scenes!!!! Two worst scenes: The Catacombs & The Theater of the Vampires. Oh, and the end of Act I. Were they trying to rip off Wicked?
Book: Disjointed. It lacked any sort of tangible theme, leaving the actors with very little to motivate their characters.
How could they have done it better?
Tim Burton & Danny Elfman.

LMAO yes it was a "wickedy" end of act 1 but I still enjoyed it.One thing about all of us writing on these forums is we must care about the show and want it to succed if we point out the good and bad.It is encouraging to see many people and there opinons about the show.

It's hard to take your dislike of the musical seriously when you have no suggestions for improvement.

Are you serious? After the total lack of imagination and intrigue in the disappointments of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory AND Corpse Bride, you would suggest a team who has completely fallen victim to the once clever now barren land of sell-outs? Remember that these are PREVIWES!!!! They are not, nor do they claim to be a finished product. Every night the play will change, and as soon as they start to recieve HELPFUL criticism, they will adapt. This artistic team has proven that they can recreate the atmosphere of the books, all that's left is the details. And I am positive that they will do what needs to be done. Great art does not happen easily, as we learned from the recent work of the two once very avaunt-garde artists you laud so highly. Go back, look at what didn't work, and suggest change. Don't just judge. It's immature and insulting.
