Be careful about the audios from the 2008 shows. I've heard some 2 or 3 really awful ones, and one really great one. Also, there is a video.

Hey, guys!! I'm in an incredibly good mood, so I thought I would turn around and give ya'll a little something! It also stems from my need to create buzz/anticipation for Jim's show. I figure that Lestat fans might be interested in it because of its Gothic roots and the casting of Jim himself. I hope you all become interested enough to visit. It's one clip, containing two songs. These songs are important plot points in the story, so don't read any further, nor download anything if you wish to remain unspoiled about Frankenstein the book, or the adaptation of that book...
SPOILERS AHEAD
TURN BACK NOW
YOU'VE BEEN WARNED
In this clip, the Monster (Steve Blanchard) has coerced Victor (Hunter Foster) to create a mate (Mandy Bruno) for him. A solemn Victor attends his engagement party, leaving his fiancee Elizabeth (Christianne Noll) and this best friend Henry (Jim Stanek) wondering why he has changed so much. In the second song, immediately afterwards, Victor goes to his lab to create the Bride, but his experiment is discovered by Henry, with tragic results.
Btw, check out Jim's rockstar note on "Prometheus was merely myth.....your FATE will be the same as HHHIIIISSSS!!!!"

I've sent a friend request from Hugh's MySpace and my own...I rarely use mine, but Hugh's has been getting a lot of views and friend requests lately so I'll be glad to add the Frankenstein page to our Top Friends list.
Thank you, Paula! We really appreciate all your support, and this show could use some attention. I'm trying to get through to the Lestat, Phantom, and Jekyll fans, who might really, really like this if they give it a chance. Also, looking for Hunter and Steve fans, so if anyone can pass the word, send them to the Official Site or to the MySpace page.
Also, remember, everyone, that the strike does NOT affect Frankenstein, so if you're in town, go watch it. There are some great discounts.
First of all, Jim does a lot of phone stealing when I go see him, so I really need to talk to him about his klepto issues.
Secondly, the next two weeks are crucial for the survival of this musical, so go see it and take everyone you know to go see it. Also, you may become our friend on MySpace and spread the word:

Tell your classmates or any Shelley readers that you know. I've seen some student groups there b/c the musical is so true to the novel. Just go, and do it ASAP. See ya there!
I'm so getting that DVD!!!

You just made my day. I usually feel like I'm the only one around who can't read a note

Don't EVER underestimate my stupidity!
I'm surrounded by actors and musicians who can sing and play, and I can't understand a note of what they're doing, nor most of the musical terminology.
You? Stupid?

Once, Hugh was going on a long tangent about how the soundboard was compressing his high notes. He stopped in mid-sentence because he realized I was totally lost. I admitted I can't even read music. He said, "WHAT DID THEY TEACH YOU IN SCHOOL???"
I told him we're nicely balanced...he's computer-illiterate and I'm musically illiterate.
Somehow, it works out.
Haha! I love it! "What did they teach you in school"?? Honestly! ![]()

Hair is possibly my favorite musical ever, along with Jesus Christ Superstar and Brel. When I heard that these awesome Lestat people were in it, I became very interested in getting tickets, but they were impossible to get without camping out half a day. So, if anyone saw it, took pictures, please tell us what you thought!
I especially loved Jim's reaction when you threatened to ban us from his board if we kept fighting!

Your post made me choke on my coffee.![]()

A video blog from Jim...I don't know if I should laugh or run in terror!
He's talking about interviewing his Frankenstein monster action figure in Steve Blanchard's dressing room while SB is not there, just to bug him. Then he remembered how much taller than he SB is, and started to rethink the whole pissing-him-off aspect of the plan.
Little side note: he says that Drew gave him one of those leather bracelets that he and Ann wear, but that he doesn't wear it b/c he (Jim) can't "pull it off" the way Drew can, cuz Drew's a rock star and he's not. This is why he's been devoting a lot of time recently to watching MTV2 in the hopes that the kids will pick up some cool Drew-like rockstar moves. Occassionally, he'll grab a random boy and use him as a guitar (this usually happens to the two youngest), as the poor boy squirms in his arms and tries to get away. The baby just wants to change the channel back to Scooby-Doo.
So we had lunch with Jim yesterday, and he mentioned some stuff that he wants to do for the site. Apparently, he had an amazing time doing the Lestat blogs and he wants to continue doing blogs, so he's thinking of starting a Frankenstein video blog. He wants to ask Steven Blanchard to help him, but he's shy so he might not.
He's very much on a Frankenstein high, so he bought a set of action figures (the Universal Classic Monsters), and b/c he bought the set, he was able to get a 14-inch Frankenstein monster. He sent us out to get a camera while he did the show so that we could come back and have a photo shoot that centered on the monster. We did, and the resulting pictures should be hilarious! He started doing impersonations (including Michael J. Fox), so I requested my favorite: Drew Sarich as Armand. He obliged and I snapped a picture. Jim also took the camera from me and took about 7 pictures of his monster sitting and standing on the steps. He says he wants us to use them as avatars.
He also says that he wants to start a blog on his site where he reviews movies. This is the point where we started another one of our arguments that ends in him calling me a heartless shell of a person and threatens to hit me repeatedly. We got into a hardcore fight while we were eating about Willy Wonka, then about Danny Boyle's Millions, then revisited our old fights about Crash and Ratatouille. It was ugly. He says he wants to get a MySpace so he could kick me out of his top 8.
Anyhoo, when Heather gets back home, and assuming the pictures look good, you should be in for a treat: the most bizarre photo shoot ever!
FYI, for those of you who didn't read the news on the DSB, Drew probably will be out for a couple of days this week. If you were gonna buy tickets to see him, wait a few days.
Thanks! I'll post it on the board for those people that want to order it that way. Hopefully, MySpace will behave for the people who want to purchase it there.
Eclipse:
Joanna: Am I retarded or is there something wrong with Snocap? I can't get those songs off the myspace!
Not sure if something changed... But I downloaded them all fine yesterday o.o
Eclipse,
Is there any way you can give us brief instructions as to how you did it? I didn't download them (and I don't plan to), but people on the board have been asking about it, and I thought it would be helpful to tell them how. Or is it self-explanatory, and people are just having trouble b/c MySpace is malfunctioning?
