Lestat Musical- How Did You Like The Changes From Sf To Nyc? | Sep 28, 2006 at 10:11 PM

Loved everything in the SF version.I cannot think of anything I liked in the NY version. >_<

Sf Boot Plead | Sep 17, 2006 at 11:43 PM

I know many will read and laugh or flame but it is all I can try.I love this show as do many others and I loved and always defended this SF version of it.I have nothing to trade but I hope some dear soul would send me a link or dl for this.I am not in this to get and sell or give away.I want it for my own personal viewing of this dear memory.I like Lestat left my mom and dad recently moved out to live on my own.
This show has a deep connection to me and always will.I am not expecting anyone to respond in forum but you may in note or email thingy.I pray and hope someone kind enough and trusting in me would share this gift that I probably will not be able to ever get. Thanks for reading.
Sincerely Kat

When your messages are peppered with copious typos and constant misuse of the space key, lack of capital letters, etc., it does not help people to take you seriously, regardless of the actual merit of what you may have to say.

I still stand by all I have ever posted on here. You can all condem what I think or say and it really does not matter. As far as the Theater Major on here.First you all condem me for saying I do theater and know something about it.Then you rally around someone else who hints of training.Sounds a bit hipicritial. The fact is he was not good in this role, acted to fem and strained yes strained the notes. You say he is a rock sounding singer but is Armand supposed to be.Not to my knowledge.
By the way rude person that wrote about my typos ect.You need to rememeber alot of smart people have the worst handwriting and typing skills. It does not mean they don't know what there talking about. It only proves people have nothing better to do.Now get on with your life if you had one.

well your picking on my spelling. Now I can leave this conversation since you obviously are at a loss for real debate on this.I don't try to get personal with other people on here and wont "go there".Have a nice night.zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Well I guess we will never feel the same about him.I am not on a soapbox saying you have to take lessons to know this and that but if you can't hear the strain and forced notes then I do not know what to think.
>_<

Well his rock style sure did NOT work in these songs. There not in the style nor do they suit his..umm voice.Sure he was cast but then again. From day one I liked Jack better as armand LOL. spelled right,,Happy lol

I doubt your one to judge since you obviously think straining notes makes you a great tenor, and if you think he compares to Hugh thats the biggest mistake of all!

Clips Here | Jun 10, 2006 at 02:30 AM

He is a high tenor? wow. Because he is straining his pipes like no tomorrow =(.btw i said he is PROBABLY a bar,,,not is.
Seems someone else is mistaking?

umm I am very serious. It was painful to listen to.Take voice lessons and listen to some BAD singers and you will know what I mean.It is very harsh and pushed when he sings.Nothing was at ease in his voice.Listen to Hugh and you should know what I am talking about. He is a great example of one that knows breathing technique and uses the diaphragn to hit the high notes.Hugh also has tremendous control and can sing with ease and go full blast then gently ease into a falsetto when needed which he doesn't need to much at all.

Please Make A Lestat Feature Film !! | Jun 10, 2006 at 02:24 AM

I know film was taken in SF cause they ran it there on diff shows and interview. What a marvel if someone had that on dvd WOOT~

I was curious to hear Drews version of Sail Me Away and heard it as it was posted on here which leads me back to what I always thought. He just is not a good singer.I know many will disagree and say he was a last min replacement ect ect.But for god sakes, this song is truley butchered. He strains to hit anything high then ends up speaking it.There is not much on the notes being connected.
I know hes probably more a Barratone but sheesh.Even a GOOD barratone can sing this song well and have more feeling in it.Also a rule of thumb and I talk from expierence since I am in musicals myself is you don't sing the word TIRED as "I'm TIIIRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEED.It sounds really really bad LOL.
This may be a rant that has gone on to long and good for him filling in but seems to have done more damage then good.
>_<
