While I couldn't record it while it was on, I did get tihs screenshot of it: http://s62.phot...mgAnch=imgAnch1

I'll try to record it if I see it again!

The commercial...was just basically him and a couple other people sitting at a table and talkin about something I dont remember lol.

Woah, that was weird. I was watching whose line is it anyway, and during the commercials, an OLIVE GARDEN commercial came on, and there were some people at a table and i was thinking "THAT LOOKS LIKE JIM STANEK!!!" lol, i had to rewind it a couple of times, but I'm pretty sure it is. I googled "Jim stanek olive garden commercial" and on www.cmu.edu i found that Jim Stanek (94) was cast in LESTAT, as well as: Jim Stanek (94) booked a national commercial for the OLIVE GARDEN. So I guess it really IS him. That was weird lol.

I Better Get Lots Of Love For This! | Jul 3, 2006 at 12:34 PM

Octobermoon: Well, I gave it a shot...twice. And even with the change to mp4 it still tells me quicktime doesn't recognize the file.

"Couldn't open the file "Lestat.mp4" because it is not a file that Quick Time understands"

Any suggestions?

Update to the latest version of quicktime?

Lestat Concluded Its Broadway Run May 28th 2006. | May 31, 2006 at 07:17 PM

I loved the show. Sure there are things from SF that I'd rather be in the NY version but they weren't necessarily flaws. The only flaw was as many have said before, the Morality play, it sets up why Lestat wants to seek out Marius and it is totally uncomprehendable so his whole searching for marius gets confused. Just put origin of species back and the original ending and it'd be better

Traxart: Does anyone know if it is possible to get a bootleg of the show?

I think lonewanderer has a video but he doesn't like to share things unless you send him like a bazillion cast-album recordings that he doesn't have and he already has 99.9999999999999% of all recordings in existance.

Other than that, I have no clue.

Dracula Scene! Lol | May 29, 2006 at 05:24 PM

In the scene where Lestat comes back to Armand and they are doing a production of Dracula, it reminded me of in interview with the vampire how Louis mentioned to Claudia about "Vampires pretending to be humans pretending to be vampires."

I made the comment to my friend "Humans pretending to be vampires pretending to be humans pretending to vampires." It was amusing lol.

Origin Of Species Or Morality Play??? | May 29, 2006 at 06:27 AM

Ok, I finally saw the show! I thought it was amazing, except for the Morality Play. I had NO clue what the heck was going on. Personally, while I haven't seen it performed, I really like the song, and it made a HELL of a lot more sense than the morality play. I tried extra hard to pay attention to that and I had no clue what happened.

So I'm wondering, if one or the other, which would you prefer?

And It's Over | May 29, 2006 at 06:03 AM

Todays show was amazing, I was glad to see everyone in their proper roles. As far as the show, it was amazing except for the Morality Play...seriously, I knew it was supposed to be confusing and dumb so I payed extra close attention and I STILL had no idea what the heck was going on. They shoulda brought back origin of species because I actually liked that song. There are a couple things that I liked better in SF than Broadway but overall it was amazing! Stupid critics.

Whether it be movie critics or theatre critics, they give horrible reviews to an amazing show such as Lestat but give great raving reviews for an extremely dull movie like Brokeback Mountain. I don't get it.
